How to write on your Ipad

Stacey Kade was asking me how to write on an Ipad, so I thought I would do a demonstration.  Olivia also wanted to help, so I hope we kept you entertained and informed!

  1. Did anyone else notice my husband whispering for me to slo down?

  2. Good tips :) Unfortunately, my fingers have become too used to QWERTY's to simply tap the glass, so touch screens don't like me very much.

  3. This was awesome! Thanks, Magan (and Olivia)!!! Yeah, I can see what you're saying about not typing vast amounts of text, but if you're struck by a sudden idea that you want to jot down or if you want to work on a small section while you're waiting somewhere (as you said) that could be very useful.

Thanks again. And Olivia is SO DARN CUTE!!! :)

  5. I've seen people type on an iPad by plugging in a really slim USB keyboard and propping their iPad up on a stand, just like a computer monitor. When I saw that I was like "Oh, I could make that work!" It would be so nice not to lug my laptop everywhere I want to write.

By the way, your baby is ADORABLE!

  6. Interesting. I don't have an iPad, I have a MacBook Pro. I want one, but I know that I don't need another gadget!

    But they are cool.

  7. Hi Magan,
I'm a fellow campaigner and appreciate the IPad lesson. Now all I need is an Ipad.

  8. I had an iPad but didn't like it, so I gave it to my son. I am attached to my laptop and my Blackberry, which I can also type on like a notepad, (a very small one). Still, I would like to try the iPad, but I think I lost my chance LOL. No way is my son letting go of it now.

    Your baby is adorable!!!

  9. That is really cool, and much preferred over my current method of spazzing out and scribbling incoherent half-sentences all over my arms. I'm curious as to the longest piece you've written on the iPad. Like Stephanie said, would it be possible to go all iPad and nothing else?

  11. Hello, fellow campaigner! I'm not in your group (but I am a YA author), but I still wanted to check out your blog and say, "HI!"

The name of your blog packs a punch! :)

  13. Next do a tutorial of how you can manage to write and take care of small children at the same time!

You should leave me a comment. It would probably make me smile and then I will probably comment back. Unless you are a spambot. Then I will probably just ignore you.
